Overnight Stay and Tasting Menu Experience for Two

Curated by Joshua Overington and his team, Mýse draws on the area’s rich history for an elegant spin on traditional Yorkshire cookery. ‘Time and Place’ shape the tasting menu, so you will be served the very best produce that we can source on each individual day. Our ingredients are grown, farmed, fished and foraged in the British Isles, championing small-scale growers and farmers with a particular focus on the ingredients within our ‘terroir’ of North Yorkshire. Complement the menu with sommelier Victoria's thoughtfully paired wines, with both a Wine Pairing and Prestige Pairing available as well as a non-alcoholic pairing made in-house with ingredients grown, foraged or farmed around the restaurant. 

Restaurant Mýse offers six rooms for guests to stay, three located in the main house, and three further in Mýse Cottage, a characterful stone cottage a few minutes stroll from the restaurant across the village green. Each room blends historic charm with classic elegance and comfort, with calm, natural wood tones and luxurious bathrooms. Relax in the knowledge you can switch off, ending the evening with a nightcap around the fire pit before a peaceful nights’ sleep just a few steps upstairs.
